Portal Overview
The Lockfy portal is the central administrative interface for monitoring session activity, reviewing workstation posture, investigating risk, and managing local account controls.
If you are new to the product, start with Introduction, then move into the dashboard and session pages before working deeper into workstation, account, and settings workflows.
What You Can Do in the Portal
Section titled “What You Can Do in the Portal”- Monitor organization-wide posture from the dashboard.
- Investigate active, idle, locked, and historical sessions.
- Review users, accounts, and workstations as separate but related entities.
- Track application, browser extension, and operating system inventory.
- Manage local account access, password randomization, and audit history.
Core Navigation Areas
Section titled “Core Navigation Areas”These pages are the best starting points for everyday portal use:
- Introduction: Product context and how Lockfy models the environment.
- Dashboard: High-level security and compliance indicators.
- Sessions Overview: How Lockfy models session lifecycle events.
- Sessions List: Searchable history of sessions across the environment.
- Workstations List: Endpoint inventory, compliance, and agent status.
Main Navigation Areas
Section titled “Main Navigation Areas”- Users List: Person-level visibility across accounts and sessions.
- Accounts List: Account-centric history and risk review.
- Local Accounts List: Local account state, access, and rotation controls.
- Applications Policies List: Required and prohibited software compliance rules.
- Lock Policies List: Lock behavior and idle enforcement rules.
- Reports: Built-in report views and exports.
Settings and Integrations
Section titled “Settings and Integrations”The Settings area contains the operational controls that shape how the portal behaves:
- Dashboard Settings: Configure how the security score is weighted.
- Default Workstation Settings: Set baseline policies and review the built-in deployment script.
- Email: Configure outbound email delivery and review email logs.
- Authorization Clients: Manage OAuth clients for API and agent integrations.
- License: Activate or renew the installation and review license capacity.
- Webhooks: Send selected events to external HTTP endpoints.
- SIEM Integration: Forward a rich, SOC-focused set of security events to a SIEM in structured CEF, with per-event control. See the event reference.
- Syslog: Legacy syslog forwarding (deprecated — use SIEM Integration).
- Passwords Randomization and Access: Define password rules for local account workflows.
- Reports Settings: Control scheduled report emails and recipients.
