Templates & Localization

This page controls two things: your organization’s branding as it appears in Lockfy, and the wording of the emails Lockfy sends. Both are held per language, so English and Arabic are set independently.
You do not have to customize anything. Every item ships with a working default, and an item you never touch keeps that default and continues to receive improvements in future Lockfy releases.
Items Table
Section titled “Items Table”Each row is one item in one language.
Item: What the value is used for.Language: The locale the row applies to, such asen-usorar-sa. The same item appears once per supported locale.Value: The value currently in use, whether the default or your replacement. Long values, such as an email body, are truncated here and shown in full in the editor.Customized:YESwhen you have replaced the default,NOwhen the default is still in use. Sort or filter on this column to see everything your organization has changed.
Branding
Section titled “Branding”Corporate Name: The organization name shown in the portal header and used in emails. Setting it per locale lets the name appear in the reader’s own language.Corporate Logo: The URL of the logo image shown in the portal.
Email templates
Section titled “Email templates”Each email Lockfy sends has a Subject and a Body item:
Login Email: The sign-in message carrying the one-time code.App Not Installed Email: The reminder sent to employees who have not installed the mobile app.User Statistics Email: The monthly summary sent to individual employees.Admin Statistics Email: The statistics report sent to administrators.
Bodies are full HTML documents. Edit them only if you are comfortable with HTML — a malformed body will still be sent.
Editing an item
Section titled “Editing an item”Selecting a row opens the editor. Enter the replacement text and select Save, or Cancel to discard.
Placeholder tokens
Section titled “Placeholder tokens”Some items contain placeholder tokens written in braces — {0}, {1} and so on. Lockfy substitutes real values into them when it sends the message, so they are not decorative.
The editor shows the rule for the item you are editing:
- The sign-in email must keep its token — that token is the one-time code. An email saved without it cannot be used to sign in.
- The statistics emails must keep every token they contain, exactly as written. A missing token means a missing figure.
- Items with no tokens can be reworded freely.
If you need a literal brace character in the text, escape it as described in the editor’s hint.
Preview
Section titled “Preview”Preview renders the item as it will appear, with sample values substituted for the tokens, so you can check layout and wording before saving. Hide preview returns to the editor.
Send test email
Section titled “Send test email”For email items, Send test email delivers the current version to an address you choose so you can see it in a real inbox.
This sends a genuine email — it is not a simulation. The recipient must be an address on your organization’s email domain; Lockfy refuses other addresses.
If a test does not arrive, check the Queue and Email Logs tabs on the Email page before assuming the template is at fault.
Reverting to the default
Section titled “Reverting to the default”Clearing your replacement returns the item to Lockfy’s built-in wording, and Customized returns to No.
Access
Section titled “Access”This page requires the Templates & Localization settings permission. Changes apply to the whole organization, not to the administrator making them.
