PowerShell (Manual)
To remove the Lockfy Agent manually from a Windows device, make sure you have the following:
- Administrator access to the device (Local or domain accounts).
- The Lockfy Agent uninstaller PowerShell script.
Copy the Script
Section titled “Copy the Script”Copy LOCKFY_AGENT_UNINSTALLER.ps1 to the root of the C: drive.
Start “Windows Powershell”
Section titled “Start “Windows Powershell””- Open the Start menu.
- Search for Windows PowerShell.
- Right-click Windows PowerShell and select Run as Administrator.
Prepare For Deployment
Section titled “Prepare For Deployment”In the PowerShell window, change to the root of the C: drive:
cd \c:Then verify that the script is present:
dir LOCKFY*.*You should see LOCKFY_AGENT_UNINSTALLER.ps1 in the output. If not, return to Copy the Script and confirm that the file was copied to the correct location.
If required by your environment, allow signed scripts to run:
Set-ExecutionPolicy AllSignedRun the script
Section titled “Run the script”Run the uninstaller:
.\LOCKFY_AGENT_UNINSTALLER.ps1After the script completes, review the output for success or error details before closing PowerShell.
